Meet our Head Chef
Peter Clough is the head chef at The Norden Arms. He is already a firm favourite with many locals and is fast making a name for himself, and has started supplying some of the homemade products sold in the deli.
He started his career many years ago working as a commis chef at a country club in Chorley, he moved up the ladder working in numerous kitchens up and down the country armoured with 4AA rosettes and Michelin stars, during this time he worked alongside many talented chefs which is where he cemented his beliefs and passion for food. It was then that he was head hunted after the new owner of The Norden Arms tasted his food and wanted to bring his talents to Norden.
He believes in excellent quality produce and likes to hand choose all his suppliers ensuring only the best ingredients touch the plates in his kitchen. He uses local produce from local suppliers and is constantly striving to create something extra special to tantalise your taste buds.
He is very much hands on in his kitchen and whilst you won't see him flaunting around the tables of the restaurant to chat, if you watch him through the open plan kitchen, you will see his focus and commitment to every dish he creates, his attention to detail and keen eye ensures you're in for a treat when dining at The Norden Arms.
Upstairs shows of his modern English cuisine in the A la Carte restaurant whilst downstairs you can enjoy his Gastro Pub favourites with a contemporary twist.
